 Doug Pusey – President

Doug brings nearly 35 years of experience in various facets of the construction industry to his role as owner of Legacy Homeworks Ltd.  He started his construction career as a tile setter while obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree at UBC back in the 80s. He quickly moved into a management position and established exceptional development and growth for a leading B.C. hard-surface contactor for homes, high-rise towers and large commercial projects. 

Upon moving to Vernon, Doug established Legacy Homeworks Ltd. in June of 2002 and began building homes and developing land in the North Okanagan. From 2005-2008 Legacy Homeworks Ltd. provided construction management services to Stonecroft Management Ltd. of Vancouver where he supervised and managed construction of the $80 million Outback Resort in Vernon, B.C.  After completing the Outback Resort Doug became the first choice for many Outback homeowners and others by word of mouth from his work there, building and renovating many spectacular homes and unique lakefront projects in the north end of the Okanagan Valley. Legacy Homeworks recently completed a 25,000 square foot lakefront estate home representing one of the most intricate and distinctive homes ever constructed in the Valley - and western Canada.
